We have just re branded!

Maillet Engineering is the new face of Chiarelli Engineering Management Ltd.

After some introspective thought, we have decided that it is time to launch with a progressive image, while embracing new technology that allows us to work as a team wherever we may be; on site, home or in the office, on vacation, in a meeting. We are always available for our clients, whenever, wherever.

For those of you who know me, Mexico is my home away from home. Now with our VOIP phone system and working in google cloud, I am no further away than as if I was in the office. The same is true for all at Maillet Engineering. I truly believe that having a positive and comfortable work environment, promotes a feeling of well being and allows for greater productivity. My motivation is to have a client that has been well served - our new business

model will allow this and more.

Here are my simple steps for working out of your home office wherever it may be:

1. Comfortable chair

2. Favourite pet at you feet

3. Phone charger, laptop charger (may sound silly, but if you run out of charge it is over)

4. Make sure to eat lunch as time can get away from you

5. Make sure the mariachi band can not be heard by your client

6. Go outside periodically to get some fresh air

7. Don't forget to take breaks and stretch as it helps you focus

8. If Skyping with client, do not show them the palm trees and ocean in the background.

At the end of the day, you need to enjoy what you do and how you are doing it.

Your clients will be the ones who benefit along with yourself.
